The 5/8 inch wide blade on the Böker Rasiermesser Tree Brand Canvas Micarta Straight Razor is made of best quality Solingen razor steel (not stainless) with especially good edge retention so that the traditional hollow ground blade delivers a perfect shave every day. Entirely made by hand in the Böker knife factory in Solingen. The blade also features a historical etching and an authentic Böker stamp. The Micarta is made from numerous layers of sailcloth impregnated with phenolic resin, cured and then ground to the desired shape. The Micarta handle on this razor not only looks beautiful, but it is also extremely durable and guarantees a secure grip even with wet hands.
