The Hydrodepot MH Grow Light is a Metal Halide bulb, because the light from metal halide (MH) mimics the colour spectrum of the sun, some growers find that plants look more pleasing under a metal halide than other types of HID lights such as the HPS which distorts the colour of plants. A metal halide bulb produces 60-125 lumens/watt, depending on the wattage of the bulb.
