The Stretch 2 is a highly refined folding hunting knife and the latest generation in a lineage of cutting tools that has spanned more than three decades. Based on detailed feedback from countless hardcore outdoorsmen, Spyderco’s folding hunters have steadily evolved since the release of the original C03 Hunter in 1983. The Stretch 2 is a direct reflection of that real-world input and represents the pinnacle of the breed.

The heart of the Stretch 2 is its VG-10 stainless steel blade. Full-flat ground for exceptional edge geometry, it features a drop-point profile that excels at all field-dressing tasks. Its fully accessible Trademark Round Hole allows easy one-handed opening with either hand and proudly identifies the knife as a Spyderco product.

For increased leverage and greater comfort in large hands, the injection-moulded fibreglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle has been lengthened and its ergonomics fine-tuned. The result is a highly refined handle shape that provides extraordinary control and reduces fatigue during prolonged use. Its Bi-Directional Texturing guarantees a secure grip, even when wet, and is complemented by a deep index-finger choil (finger groove) for an enhanced purchase with a “choked up” grip. These refinements complement a four-position pocket clip, a sturdy back lock mechanism, and signature Round Hole to make the Stretch 2 fully ambidextrous and ready for the toughest challenges.
