Description
Introducing the Anycubic Kobra S1 3D Printer. A fully enclosed CoreXY FDM 3D printer designed for makers, hobbyists, and professionals who want fast, reliable printing with less hands-on supervision. Powered by Kobra OS, it combines high-speed motion, automated calibration, intelligent print monitoring, and broad material compatibility in a compact enclosed design. With a 250 x 250 x 250 mm build volume, the Kobra S1 provides enough space for detailed models, prototypes, functional components, and larger creative projects while maintaining the stability and precision associated with CoreXY motion systems.
Speed is one of the printer's key strengths. Its CoreXY construction uses linear rods on both the X and Y axes, while the Z-axis uses a single motor with three guide poles for stable vertical movement. The Kobra S1 has a recommended print speed of 300 mm/s, with a maximum speed of 600 mm/s and acceleration reaching up to 20,000 mm/s. Built-in pressure advance and flow calibration help optimize extrusion and movement, allowing the printer to maintain accuracy even when operating at high speeds. The standard 0.4 mm nozzle is suitable for everyday printing, while optional 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm nozzles provide additional flexibility for faster or more specialized prints.
The Kobra S1 is equipped to handle a versatile range of materials without requiring a hotend upgrade. Its hotend reaches a maximum temperature of 320C, while the PEI spring steel heated bed can reach 120C, supporting materials including PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, and ASA. The hotend is designed for straightforward disassembly and reliable operation, while the PEI build plate provides a practical surface for achieving consistent adhesion. Automated LeviQ3.0 bed levelling and Z-Offset adjustment further simplify setup, helping establish a reliable first layer without the repeated manual calibration associated with many traditional 3D printers.
Smart monitoring features are another major part of the Kobra S1 experience. AI Spaghetti Detection monitors prints for common failures and can stop a job before a small problem develops into a large filament mess. Filament runout and entanglement detection provide additional protection, while power-loss resume allows interrupted prints to continue after an unexpected outage. The printer also includes object-skip and area-levelling functions for greater control over individual areas of a print. A built-in HD camera supports 480P remote video monitoring, allowing users to check their printer through the Anycubic APP over Wi-Fi without needing to remain beside the machine.
Despite its high-speed capabilities, the Kobra S1 is designed with noise-conscious operation in mind. In Quiet mode, operating noise can be as low as 44dB, while Standard mode is rated at up to 46dB, making it better suited to workshops, home offices, and other environments where long printing sessions can otherwise become distracting. Control is handled through a responsive 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, while users can also manage printing through slicing software, the Anycubic APP, or USB. The interface supports nine languages, including English, Chinese, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Korean.
Overall, the Anycubic Kobra S1 offers a strong combination of speed, automation, material flexibility, and intelligent monitoring in a fully enclosed package. Its CoreXY architecture, 600 mm/s maximum print speed, 320C hotend, 120C heated bed, automatic levelling, AI failure detection, remote camera monitoring, and power-loss recovery make it a versatile choice for users who want to spend less time troubleshooting and more time producing finished prints. With a machine footprint of approximately 40 x 41 x 49 cm, a weight of around 9.37 kg, and a 12-month warranty, it provides a capable platform for both everyday 3D printing and more demanding creative or functional projects.
