It records in industry-standard formats including Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW, Avid DNxHD, DNxHR, and H.265, with support for recording resolutions up to 6K at 60fps and 8K at 30fps in RAW. Users can capture footage directly to Atomos-certified CFexpress Type B media or compatible USB-C storage devices, providing flexible recording options for projects of any size. Camera control via USB-C also enables start/stop recording, ISO, shutter, aperture, white balance adjustments, and touch-to-focus functionality on supported camera models. The Ninja TX offers an extensive suite of professional monitoring tools to help creators achieve accurate exposure, focus, and colour reproduction. The monitor supports a wide variety of Log gamma profiles and colour gamuts from leading camera manufacturers including Sony, Canon, ARRI, Panasonic, RED, Nikon, Fujifilm, and JVC, while 3D LUT support enables accurate colour preview and downstream LUT output for HDR and SDR workflows.

Footage can be progressively uploaded to ATOMOSphere, Adobe Frame.io, or Dropbox, enabling faster review, editing, and content delivery from virtually anywhere. The device includes 20GB of complimentary ATOMOSphere cloud storage, supports NDI 6 streaming, over-the-air firmware updates, Bluetooth and AirGlu RF timecode synchronisation, and Wi-Fi 6E networking for reliable wireless connectivity.
