Description

Calcium Chloride is used to dry your edible mushrooms. It is VERY IMPORTANT to note that Calcium Chloride is toxic to humans and should never touch your mushrooms. Handle with care.

Instructions

• Air dry your mushrooms for 48 hours with a fan.
• Place a layer of Calcium Chloride Flakes into the base of an airtight container.
• Place a wire rack over the desiccant to keep your mushrooms from touching it.
• Arrange your mushrooms on the rack, ensuring they’re not too close together, and seal the container.
• Wait for a few days, then test to see if they’re cracker dry.
• Transfer to storage bags (e.g. ZipLoc, vacuum sealed) and place in the freezer.
