The Carson 3D Series 10x42mm HD Binocular with ED Glass - Black is a part of the 3D/ED Series Binocular line which combines dielectric prism coatings with ED glass. ED glass gives you the brightest and clearest image possible. The ED Glass reduces the amount of chromatic aberration that occurs as light passes through a binocular. Chromatic aberration presents itself as colour fringes that appear around your viewing subject. Dielectric prism coatings greatly improve light transmission, brightness and provide clear, high contrast images that show accurate colour reproduction.

The TD-042ED binocular with ED Glass is  ideal for hunting or bird-watching. It has a rubberized armour coating that makes this full-sized 3D/ED Series binocular rugged and shockproof. The body is nitrogen purged and O-ring sealed making them waterproof and fog-proof.  With extra-long eye relief and twist down eye-cups makes this full-sized 3D/ED Series glass binocular perfect for eyeglass wearers. The precisely placed thumb grooves, “just right” texturing and all-over lightweight body ergonomics make the 3D/ED Series binocular perfect for long hunts or bird-watching expeditions.
