Description

Celestron has decided to reinvent the manual telescope and has come up with the Celestron Starsense Explorer LT Refractor - 80mm. This telescope is the first one that has been designed to use your phone to analyse the night sky and calculate its position in real time.

The StarSense Explorer is the ideal for beginners due to its app user friendly interface and detailed tutorials. With its sturdy Alt-Azimuth mount the telescope is easy to move around helping you find your next target with ease. One of the best features about the mount is its built in slow motion adjustment with sliding rod that has been added to help you fine tune the telescope's pointing position and follow targets as they appear to drift across the night sky and the best part it its all anchored by an adjustable, full-height tripod.

Unlike most telescopes the Starsense Explorer has been fine tuned to be able to handle light polluted city location, and is so advanced that it is able to pick out Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, the Orion Nebula and much more due to its advanced system.
