Introducing the Discovery MS 6-24x42 AOAC Riflescope. A versatile variable-magnification optic designed for medium- to long-range observation and precision shooting. Offering a 6-24x magnification range and a 42 mm objective lens, it provides a useful balance between field of view, target detail and overall scope size. Its 25.4 mm (1-inch) main tube makes it compatible with a wide range of standard mounting systems. The scope uses a second focal plane HMD SFP IR-MIL reticle, meaning the reticle remains visually the same size as magnification is adjusted. Red and green illumination is available with five brightness positions, allowing the reticle to be adapted to different lighting conditions and backgrounds.

An adjustable objective provides parallax correction from approximately 5 yards to infinity, making the scope suitable for a broad range of target distances. Turret adjustments are made in 1/4 MOA increments, with approximately 50 MOA of available elevation adjustment and 50 MOA of windage adjustment. The MS 6-24x42 includes both zero-reset and LockDown zero-lock functionality. This allows the turrets to be reset after sight-in and helps reduce the chance of unwanted adjustment during transport or handling. The scope does not include a mechanical zero stop or revolution indicator.

Optically, the scope features fully multi-coated lenses to support image brightness, contrast and clarity. The field of view ranges from approximately 20.5 ft to 5.2 ft at 100 yards, while the exit pupil ranges from 10.6 mm to 2.6 mm. Eye relief varies from approximately 3.1 inches at lower magnification to 2.8 inches at higher magnification. The riflescope is nitrogen filled and designed to be waterproof, fog proof and shock proof, helping it perform reliably in changing outdoor conditions. Its sealed construction helps protect the internal optical system against moisture and environmental exposure.

Measuring approximately 36.2 cm in length and weighing around 553 g (19.6 oz), the Discovery MS 6-24x42 AOAC combines a wide magnification range, illuminated SFP reticle, adjustable objective and lockable turrets in a practical 1-inch-tube riflescope.
