Description

Introducing the DJI Avata 360 Fly More Combo With RC 2. The DJI Avata 360 Fly More Combo with RC 2 is an advanced immersive camera drone designed around high-resolution 360 imaging, intelligent subject tracking and agile flight performance. Its dual-camera 360 system uses two 64 MP 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors to capture expansive footage at up to 8K resolution and 60 fps. The aircraft is designed to disappear from stitched 360 footage, creating an unobstructed panoramic view that can be reframed after recording from virtually any perspective. The 360 camera system can capture still images at up to 120 MP in JPEG format or approximately 118 MP in DNG format, preserving extensive detail for later cropping and reframing. Users can switch between immersive 360 capture and a conventional single-lens view, effectively providing two distinct shooting styles from the same aircraft. Standard video recording supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2880 at 60 fps and 2688 x 2016 at 120 fps, while the dedicated 360 mode supports UHD 8K recording at up to 60 fps.

Creative flexibility is further expanded by ActiveTrack 360 and Spotlight tracking. ActiveTrack can automatically select an appropriate tracking approach for the subject, helping users capture dynamic movement without manually controlling every camera angle. Because a complete 360 environment can be recorded during a single flight, footage can later be reframed to create conventional forward views, rear-facing perspectives, horizon rotations, flips, zoom transitions, Asteroid-style effects and other creative camera movements from the same original recording. RockSteady and HorizonSteady stabilisation technologies support smoother footage during dynamic flight, while the aircraft incorporates a single-axis mechanical gimbal for pitch control. The gimbal offers a tilt range from approximately -30 to 60, a maximum follow speed of 100/s and stabilisation accuracy of approximately 0.01, helping maintain controlled framing while the drone manoeuvres.

Flight safety is supported by an omnidirectional sensing system with forward-facing LiDAR enhancement. Forward obstacle sensing operates from approximately 0.5 to 20 m, while rearward, lateral and upward sensing extends from approximately 0.5 to 18 m. Downward sensing provides additional positioning and obstacle awareness beneath the aircraft. An integrated propeller guard further supports confident operation, particularly when flying through tighter environments or capturing more dynamic tracking shots. The Avata 360 offers a maximum horizontal speed of approximately 18 m/s, with ascent and descent speeds reaching up to 10 m/s. Maximum wind resistance is rated at approximately 10.7 m/s, while the aircraft can operate at takeoff altitudes of up to 4,500 m. A fully charged 2700 mAh Intelligent Flight Battery provides up to approximately 23 minutes of maximum flight time or around 22 minutes of maximum hovering time.

Long-range video transmission provides a maximum supported operating distance of up to 20 km under suitable conditions. The included DJI RC 2 remote controller features a built-in 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 touchscreen display with approximately 700-nit brightness, eliminating the need to connect a separate smartphone for normal operation. Multi-band 2.4 GHz, 5.1 GHz and 5.8 GHz transmission support helps maintain a clear and responsive live flight view. Built-in 42 GB storage provides enough onboard capacity for substantial amounts of high-resolution footage without requiring a memory card for every flight. Additional storage is available through microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards with capacities up to 1 TB, with U3/V30 or faster cards recommended. The replaceable front lens design also allows damaged lenses to be changed using a compatible replacement lens kit rather than requiring replacement of the entire camera system.

The DJI Avata 360 measures approximately 199 x 55.5 x 246 mm and has a takeoff weight of around 455 g. Combining 8K/60fps 360 recording, 120 MP panoramic photography, ActiveTrack 360, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, integrated LiDAR assistance, long-range transmission and the DJI RC 2 controller, the Fly More Combo provides a versatile platform for immersive aerial filmmaking and highly creative post-production workflows.
