Description

Introducing the First Ascent Amplify 900 Deep Lake Sleeping Bag. Designed for camping, hiking and backpacking trips where weight and pack space are important considerations. Weighing just 0.975 kg and packing down to an incredibly compact 28 x 18 cm, it is easy to carry when travelling on foot or when keeping the size and weight of your gear to a minimum. With a comfort temperature rating of 7C and a transition rating of 2C, it is suited to summer, spring and autumn conditions.

The sleeping bag is insulated with 100 g/m Thermo-Shield to provide warmth while remaining lightweight and packable. An Illuminate layer is positioned between the inner lining and outer layers, using a durable silver-coated fabric designed to help retain body heat. Together with the Thermo-Shield insulation, this construction helps the bag provide effective warmth without adding unnecessary bulk for backpacking and hiking applications. A key feature of the Amplify 900 is its innovative expand technology around the knee and hip areas. Elastic Amplify stitching allows these sections to expand when additional room is needed, while helping minimise heat loss when the sleeping bag is being used. This provides a balance between freedom of movement and thermal efficiency, making the sleeping bag more comfortable while maintaining its ability to retain warmth.

The sleeping bag features a right-handed YKK pull zip with a 2-way zipper and draft baffle to help reduce heat loss through the zip area. A reflective zip puller makes the zipper easier to locate, while the internal pocket provides a convenient place to keep valuables close by while sleeping. The Microtex Soft Touch Polyester lining adds a soft interior feel for greater comfort during overnight use. Measuring 220 x 80/55 cm, the First Ascent Amplify 900 offers a practical combination of warmth, comfort and compact portability. Its lightweight 0.975 kg construction, small packed size, Thermo-Shield insulation, heat-reflective Illuminate layer and expandable hip and knee sections make it a versatile choice for spring, summer and autumn camping and hiking adventures.
