The Hawke Sidewinder Thread Adapter - 50mm is for connecting the new Hawke Metal Flip-Up covers and sunshade accessories to PRE-2019 Frontier 30 SF or PRE-2015 Sidewinder scopes. The thread adaptor simply screws in to the scope and presents a female thread that accepts the new style metal flip-up covers and accessories.
