Designed to withstand harsh marine conditions, the AT-140 offers an operating temperature range from 30C to +60C (22F to +140F), ensuring durability and reliability even in extreme weather conditions encountered at sea. Its weather-resistant construction makes it suitable for maritime applications.

One of its key features is the automatic tuning capability, which allows for rapid tuning of antennas. Under general conditions, the tuner achieves tuning in approximately 2 to 3 seconds, and for a memorized frequency, re-tuning takes about 1 second. This capability ensures an accurate match between the transceiver and the antenna, reducing reflected power and enhancing transmission efficiency.

Equipped with an SO-239 antenna connector (50) and supporting a maximum input power of 150 watts (PEP) or 100 watts in continuous mode, the AT-140 tuner provides automatic tuning accuracy to achieve an SWR of 2.0:1 after tuning, except for multiples of 12.

The tuner is compatible with Icom HF marine transceivers such as the IC-78 and IC-F8101. It's engineered to offer quick and efficient tuning for antennas with a usable pole diameter ranging from 32 to 60 mm (1.3 to 2.4 inches).
