Its 20-60x zoom range brings distant objects into sharp focus, and the combination of a 100mm objective lens and anti-reflection multi-coatings provides effective light transmission that boosts its low-light capability from the first light of pre-dawn through to the last light of late dusk. The eyepiece is set at a 45 degree angle to the body to place your head in a comfortable position whether you're standing, sitting, or lying prone.
