The Hand Digger features a double-edge blade with sharp serrations on the left blade and a saw tooth edge on the right blade which makes cutting and digging through grass, sods and roots a breeze. Made from 3mm stainless steel, the BIG John Hand Digger is extremely durable. A concave blade adds additional strength as well as prevents a build up of moist soil or clay from sticking to the blade. The oversized knuckle plate has been designed in such a way that you can apply downward pressure with your other hand, which makes it easier to push the blade into hard soil. A 6mm hole in the centre of the knuckle plate makes it possible to connect a lanyard, especially useful if you tend to leave your metal detecting accessories behind.
