Its intelligent design addresses one of the most common challenges in aquarium maintenance: providing regular, appropriate amounts of food without polluting the water or overfeeding. The AFS allows for multiple small feedings throughout the day, mimicking natural feeding behaviours and promoting healthier, happier fish and invertebrates.

A standout feature of the AFS is its compatibility with a wide range of pellet, flake, or the specially formulated Neptune Crossover Diet pellets. Developed in partnership with Reed Mariculture, these proprietary pellets are designed to provide optimal nutrition for both fish and corals. The Crossover Diet pellets feature a micro-film of coral food on their surface, dispersing upon contact with water to benefit corals and micro-fauna in the tank. This all-in-one feeding approach simplifies your routine and enhances the health and vibrancy of your aquatic environment.

The AFS employs a stay-dry sealed container system that automatically extends and retracts to dispense food, preventing moisture from entering and causing clumping or clogging. This innovative motorised delivery system ensures accurate, consistent feeding while maintaining dry, fresh food in the container. The compact design, measuring approximately 6.25 inches with the AquaBus plug, makes it easy to install in various configurations, with an adjustable mounting clip that extends up to two inches or the option to use Velcro for flexible positioning.

Connectivity with your Neptune Apex system is seamless via the AquaBus cable, which comes included with a 15-foot length. The system supports daisy-chaining multiple feeders together, making it ideal for larger tanks or for providing different types of food in separate feedings. The Apex controls the feeding schedule, allowing you to set multiple feedings per day-ranging from a few grains to larger amounts-tailored precisely to your tanks needs. Whether used for routine daily feedings or extended absences, the EcoTech AFS ensures your aquatic life receives timely, consistent nutrition, promoting overall tank health and stability.
