Thanks to a unique dual-lens system, the Polaroid Now has autofocus control. This automatically switches the camera between a close-up lens and a distance lens. With the close-up lens, you can focus at an incredible distance of just 55 cm. With the distance lens, the automatic focus works from 61 cm to infinity.

The camera features a built-in lithium-ion battery, making it compatible with the battery-free i-Type instant film. However, the Polaroid Now is also compatible with type 600 film. The camera design includes a clear optical viewfinder, built-in flash, self-timer and dual exposure functions.
