The Poly Savi UC 8240-M Wireless DECT Convertible Headset in black is designed to connect to PCs using the included D400 DECT USB Adapter, supporting DECT 6.0 technology for North America and DECT technology outside North America. With a wireless range of up to 40m/130ft in a typical office setting and up to 137m/450ft in line-of-sight conditions, it offers flexibility and mobility while ensuring a stable connection.
Featuring different battery capacities (490mAh for S8210, 700mAh for S8220, and 140mAh for S8245), these headsets incorporate replaceable and rechargeable lithium-ion polymer batteries. The S8210 and S8220 models offer up to 13 hours of talk time, while the S8245 variant provides unlimited talk time, ensuring uninterrupted usage. The charge time is approximately 3 hours.
Audio performance includes wideband (100 - 6800Hz) and multimedia (20Hz - 20kHz) frequency responses. SoundGuard DIGITAL technology safeguards against sound levels surpassing 118dBA, with G616 anti-startle functionality detecting and eliminating sudden signal level increases. It also ensures a time-weighted average to prevent excessive daily noise exposure exceeding 85dBA.
The microphone employs noise-canceling technology with close conversation limiting, delivering clear and focused communication. The headset's weight varies across models, with Savi 8210 (Over-The-Head Mono) weighing 115g, Savi 8220 (Over-The-Head Stereo) weighing 160g, and Savi 8245 (3-In-1 Convertible, Over-The-Ear) weighing 21g, offering lightweight and comfortable wear.
The headset is equipped with call answer/end, mute, volume control, ANC on/off (S8220), power on/off, voice alerts, one-touch controls, USB connectivity, and a flexible microphone boom for ease of use and convenient management. The package includes a desktop charging stand, carry case, D400 USB-A DECT adapter, USB-A to USB-C adapter, charge stand, and charging cable for Savi 8210, 8220, and 8245 models. Additionally, the Savi 8245 variant includes a spare battery, headband, neckband, and fit kit with ear loops and earbuds. Certified for Microsoft Teams (Teams version only), it offers cloud-based management via Poly Lens service and local management through Poly Lens Desktop App on Windows and MAC OS.
