Description
Introducing the Schmidt & Bender Exos 1-8x24 LM FD7 Riflescope. Purpose-built for exceptional performance at close to medium ranges, offering speed, precision, and intuitive handling in fast-paced shooting environments. Designed with driven hunts and dynamic target engagement in mind, this scope features a true 1x magnification that allows for both-eyes-open shooting, delivering a natural, unmagnified view. This makes it especially effective for rapid target acquisition and tracking, where situational awareness is critical.
A standout feature of the Exos 1-8x24 is its patented Close Combat Mode (CC Mode), which enhances its versatility in short-range scenarios. At 1x magnification, the scope is automatically set to be parallax-free at 7 meters, ensuring immediate accuracy at very close distances. As the magnification increases beyond 1.1x, the system seamlessly transitions to a 100-meter parallax setting. This automatic adjustment removes the need for manual intervention, allowing the shooter to remain fully focused on the target during high-speed engagements. The riflescope is equipped with a 24mm objective lens and a generous exit pupil ranging from 9.6 mm to 3.0 mm, enabling bright image quality and rapid sight alignment. Its wide field of view-up to 35.3 meters at 100 meters-further supports quick target identification and tracking, particularly useful when engaging moving game. The FD7 illuminated reticle, positioned in the second focal plane (SFP), remains consistent in size across all magnifications. Combined with the daylight-bright FlashDot illumination and 11 brightness settings, it ensures clear visibility even under bright daylight conditions.
Mechanically, the Exos 1-8x24 features a robust 30 mm main tube and incorporates ASV II LT and Posicon CT turret systems for elevation and windage adjustments. With a click value of 1 cm per 100 meters and substantial adjustment ranges, the scope provides reliable and repeatable precision. The clockwise turret rotation is straightforward and user-friendly, supporting quick adjustments when needed. Despite its durable construction, the scope remains lightweight at just 595 grams and compact at 293 mm in length, making it ideal for mobile hunting setups. Additional features such as a 90 mm eye relief and a diopter adjustment range of -3 to +2 contribute to a comfortable and customizable shooting experience. While it does not include parallax adjustment, its automatic CC Mode compensates effectively for close-range shooting needs.
