The Singing Rock Colt Straight Carabiner - Black is engineered to be equally used for both sport and trad climbing. The Colt's hot-forged I-beam construction makes the biner very light and still extremely strong with 11 kN gate open rating, and the overall shape and gate position is designed to provide a large opening and large basket area. The angled snag free Keylock nose gives smooth clipping and cleaning the bolts and the shaped grooves on the straight gate facilitate clipping and unclipping while the large rope bearing radius reduces wear. Each carabiner is individually tested for the strength 10 kN and is ideal for anchoring, belaying or for your own quickdraw customization.
