At the heart of a PV system is the SMA Sunny Highpower 100-20 PEAK3 Inverter - 100kW from SMA. This compact string inverter offers cost-saving solutions for large-scale PV systems thanks to its high power density. The Highpower has a decentralized architecture and DC system input voltages of 1000 Volt. The power of the string inverter is 150 kilowatt peak, and it has a high power density, resulting in low costs. The Sunny Highpower PEAK3 is extra economical thanks to a maximum output of 150% thanks to the DC/AC ratio.

Inverter Sunny Highpower PEAK3 (SHP 100-20) has a maximum DC input voltage of up to 1000 Volt. The DC design of this inverter can be combined with a customized Combiner Box. The Sunny Highpower PEAK3's own consumption at night is less than 5 watts. The Sunny Highpower PEAK3 has a number of handy safety features.

These include earth leakage monitoring (suitable for all power types), grid monitoring and a DC immersion protection. In addition, the inverter has an AC short-circuit resistance and monitored overvoltage protection type II on the AC side and DC side. The degree of protection of the inverter is IP65 and is therefore spray-proof and protects against dust.
