Description

Introducing the Spuhr R-302 MP5 Picatinny Gen2 Top Rail. A lightweight mounting solution designed for MP5 platforms and compatible clones. Machined from a single billet of 7075 T651 aluminium, the rail combines strength, rigidity and low weight in a compact design intended to provide a stable mounting surface for compatible accessories. The R-302 uses Spuhrs Picatinny Gen2 rail profile and is compatible with standard MIL-STD-1913 and STANAG 4694 accessories. Its dehorned rail edges are designed to improve interface consistency and repeatability while also giving the rail a cleaner, refined profile.

Installation is supported by four clamps, with each clamp secured by two hex screws. This multi-point clamping system is designed to provide a firm and stable connection to the receiver while maintaining consistent positioning of the rail once fitted. The rail measures approximately 125.0 mm (4.92") in length and sits 13 mm (0.51") above the top of the receiver. Despite its solid 7075 T651 aluminium construction, the complete rail weighs only approximately 113 g (4 oz), helping keep additional weight to a minimum.

Manufactured by Spuhr, the R-302 combines durable aluminium construction, broad Picatinny accessory compatibility and a lightweight profile in a purpose-built top rail for MP5-style platforms.
