Introducing the Spuhr R-305 MP5 C-Thru Top Rail. A durable mounting solution designed for MP5 platforms and compatible clones. Constructed from 6082 aluminium and supported by four 7075 aluminium clamps, the rail combines strength and rigidity with a compact profile suited to professional and recreational setups. One of the defining features of the R-305 is its C-Thru design, which allows the original iron sights to remain usable even when an optic is mounted to the rail. This gives the user the flexibility to retain access to the firearms standard sighting system while still benefiting from an additional optical mounting platform.

The rail provides approximately 84.6 mm (3.33") of Picatinny mounting length, offering a suitable surface for compatible optics and accessories. Its overall length measures approximately 92.0 mm (3.62"), while the height from the top of the receiver to the top of the rail is approximately 25.9 mm (1.02"). The combination of a 6082 aluminium main body and four 7075 aluminium clamps provides a strong and stable mounting structure. Despite this robust construction, the R-305 maintains a relatively low weight of approximately 124 g (4.4 oz), helping minimise unnecessary added weight on the platform.

Manufactured by Spuhr, the R-305 has also been designed for compatibility with MP5 configurations used by a European law-enforcement unit.
