The Surefire M312V Scout Light Weaponlight is lightweight and compact, but it's tough as nails. In white-light mode, its recoil-proof LED generates a night vision-disorienting 250-lumen tactical beam. Its TIR lens focuses the light to give you the reach you need for positive target identification, plus the spill you need to maintain situational awareness. In infrared mode, its 100-milliwatt LED beam is invisible to anyone not wearing NVGs. And you can switch between the two by twisting a no-look, self-locking selector ring on the bezel. The M312Vs integral low-profile RM45 mount positions the light in the offset position between the rails of a MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) forend, decreasing overall weapon profile and limiting potential snag factor.
