Designed for complete customization, the Suunto EON Core features a vibrant full-colour TFT display with a 320 x 240 resolution, allowing divers to personalize screen layouts with up to four custom displays for each dive mode. The intuitive flip display automatically adjusts screen orientation for improved readability, while the bright LED backlight ensures excellent visibility in low-light and deep-water conditions. An integrated digital compass with tilt compensation up to 45 degrees, adjustable declination, bearing lock, and globally balanced compass functionality provides precise underwater navigation, helping divers maintain accurate headings throughout every dive. Supporting a wide range of diving disciplines, the EON Core is suitable for Air, Nitrox, Trimix, CCR fixed-point rebreather, and Gauge diving. Powered by Suunto's advanced Fused RGBM 2 decompression algorithm, it offers comprehensive dive safety features including safety stops, no-fly time calculations, real-time gas consumption monitoring, gas time estimation, decompression planning, and support for up to 10 gas mixtures with oxygen concentrations from 5% to 99% and helium up to 95%. Optional wireless air integration allows connection to as many as 20 Suunto Tank POD transmitters, enabling accurate monitoring of multiple cylinders during technical and team dives. The computer also stores up to 200 hours or 400 dives of logbook data, whichever comes first, along with lifetime dive history and detailed dive analysis.

Beyond its advanced diving capabilities, the Suunto EON Core offers Bluetooth Smart connectivity for seamless synchronization with the Suunto App, Suunto DM5, and SuuntoLink, allowing divers to transfer dive logs, update firmware, and review detailed dive information with ease.
