Description

The Vortex AR15 Riser Mount is designed for mounting Razor, SPARC, Venom and other red dot sights onto the top rail of an AR long gun to use in conjunction with the rifle's stock iron sights or BUIS. The riser adds 15.3 mm of height above the rail allowing the Razor to be 1/3 co-witnessed or to absolute co-witness the SPARC and Venom.

To withstand a lifetime of recoils, the mount is made from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium with a matte-black Type III hard anodized finish to reduce reflection and resist corrosion, chipping, and scratches.

Both the top rail and rail-mount work with Picatinny systems - even if they are out-of-spec. The rail mount features Vortex's quick release Auto Lock lever system that allows it to be installed and removed without any tools, easily adjusted to out-of-spec rails for rock-solid and repeatable performance which enables it to be configured to lock on the front or rear.
