Introducing the WS6006CE 4G Remote Weather Station and Data Logger. A robust, standalone weather monitoring solution designed for both simplicity and comprehensive data collection. Leveraging 4G GPRS/SMS technology, it offers seamless communication capabilities, even in remote locations. Completely self-sufficient, the station is powered by a combination of solar energy and a built-in battery, eliminating the need for constant external power sources. A compact outdoor sensor array, equipped with a solar panel, captures real-time environmental data, while an indoor sensor monitors humidity and temperature. Crucially, the system boasts a reliable 433MHz wireless communication range of up to 100 meters (line of sight) for the external sensors, ensuring consistent data transmission.
Data logging is facilitated through a microSD/TF card slot (not included), allowing for extensive historical records of weather patterns. A USB port provides flexibility for setup, data download, and even charging the device. Users can customise various parameters including units, logging intervals, and server settings, tailoring the system to their specific needs. Further customisation includes adjustable calibration settings and the ability to set alarms, making this more than just a weather station, it's a programmable monitoring system. Up to three users can be configured for SMS alerts, either for periodic updates or triggered by alarms, providing a flexible and accessible means of monitoring.
The WS6006CE is rigorously tested and certified with ICASA Type Approval Cert. No. TA-2023/1210, ensuring its reliability and compliance with relevant standards. The system transmits data every 16 seconds from the outdoor sensors, offering a high frequency of data acquisition. The combination of a wide 4G transmission range with a 433MHz short-range wireless capability for the sensors ensures a robust and comprehensive data collection network. The system is designed to be easy to set up and maintain, making it ideal for a variety of applications, from agricultural monitoring to environmental research.
