Powered by a vanadium oxide uncooled focal plane detector with an effective resolution of 640 x 512 pixels, this monocular offers exceptional thermal sensitivity, with a NETD of less than 20 mK at f/1.0, 25C. Its spectral range of 8 to 14 micrometers ensures reliable heat signature detection across various environments. The focal length of 50mm paired with an F1.0 aperture provides a broad field of view and high optical clarity, making it suitable for long-range surveillance, reconnaissance, and search operations.
