Description
Introducing the Pulsar Axion XG30 Compact Thermal Monocular. The Pulsar Axion XG30 Compact Thermal Monocular is a highly capable and portable thermal imaging device designed for outdoor enthusiasts, hunters, and security professionals. Its compact form factor, measuring just 144x41x69 mm and weighing only 0.25 kg without the battery, makes it easy to carry and handle during extended outdoor excursions. Despite its small size, the XG30 packs a powerful sensor and advanced features that provide clear thermal imagery, enabling users to detect heat signatures at impressive distances of up to 1300 meters. Its robust construction and IPX7 waterproof rating ensure durability and reliable performance in challenging weather conditions, from rain to snow.
At the heart of the XG30 is a high-resolution 640x480 uncooled sensor with a pixel pitch of 12 micrometers, delivering exceptional thermal sensitivity with a NETD below 40 mK. The device's F30/1.2 objective lens offers a wide field of view-14.6 by 9.2 degrees-and a magnification range from 2x to 16x, with an 8x digital zoom for detailed target examination. The device's 50Hz frame rate ensures smooth live imaging, making it suitable for tracking moving objects or scanning large areas efficiently. The thermal images are vividly displayed on a 640x400 AMOLED screen, which supports up to eight customisable colour palettes to enhance contrast and visibility under various environmental conditions.
Additional features enhance the user experience and functionality of the Axion XG30. The device includes a Picture-in-Picture mode, allowing users to keep a zoomed-in view of a target while maintaining situational awareness with the broader scene. Its built-in 64GB storage capacity enables users to record high-resolution videos and photos (.mp4 and .jpg formats), capturing critical moments during outdoor activities. The device is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, supporting the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ac standards, which allows for seamless streaming and sharing of media through compatible apps like Stream Vision 2. Charging is convenient via a USB Type-C port, and the device is powered by a long-life Li-Ion battery pack that provides up to seven hours of continuous operation.
Designed for versatility and ease of use, the Pulsar Axion XG30 features a tripod mount (1/4 inch socket), making it suitable for stationary observation or mounted surveillance. Its rugged magnesium alloy body ensures durability and resilience in demanding environments, while the operating temperature range from -20C to +40C broadens its usability across different climates. Whether used for wildlife observation, security patrols, or outdoor exploration, the Axion XG30 combines compactness with high performance, making advanced thermal imaging accessible and convenient for every user.
