The binoculars feature a fast Germanium lens with an aperture of f/50 and a wide zoom range from 2.5x up to 20x, including an 8x digital zoom, providing flexibility for both close-up observations and long-distance detection. The field of view measures 14 x 10.5 degrees, with a practical coverage of approximately 24.6 by 18.5 meters at 100 meters, making it ideal for scanning large areas efficiently.
In addition to thermal imaging, the XL50 offers a variety of integrated features to enhance user experience. The built-in laser rangefinder can measure distances up to 1000 meters with an accuracy of 1 meter, adding valuable data for tactical or hunting scenarios. The device supports dual Wi-Fi wavebands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), enabling seamless streaming and connectivity with iOS and Android devices via Stream Vision 2. The proximity sensor allows for covert operation by automatically activating or deactivating the display when the binoculars are brought to or away from the eyes.
